City of Hinesville

Hinesville is the home of the Fort Stewart Military Museum, which focuses on the history of Fort Stewart, the 3rd Infantry Division and the 24th Infantry Division.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Hinesville had a population of 30,392 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population increase of 40.7%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
